Catherine started practicing yoga as a rowing athlete over a decade ago. After seeing the amazing benefits yoga has for athletes, Catherine is most excited about creating an NP yoga practice for athletes that builds strength and flexibility.
Whether training clients 1:1 at Training Ground, studying for her nutrition cert, or chasing her own body building dreams, Camille is a firecracker with killer playlists. She's also the mastermind behind LIMITS, our signature cardio class.
Once a gymnast, Emily was also a top 10 All ACC diver at UNC before teaching at NP. She is a 200-hr RYT, TRX qualified, and is currently completing her Reformer Pilates certification. Catch her in a handstand anywhere, any time!
Kat’s passion for helping others is what makes her stand out. You’ll often hear her saying, “Give it a go” to challenge students to believe they’re stronger than they think. On top of yoga for special needs, Kat has her kettlebell certification and does personal training at Training Ground.
Kevin just loves kicking your butt, and you just may end up loving him for it. A true fitness enthusiast, Kevin has been group exercise student for years before finally taking the leap into leading classes. Now his classes are often referred to as the hardest of the bunch!
What Liz really loves about teaching is seeing people improve over time. Teaching also allows her to spread positive vibes throughout the #NPfam community, which happens to be her other very favorite thing to do! Catch Liz's POP Pilates Sundays at 4:30 pm and end your weekend right.
Robin is originally from Germany and has trained all around the world. His client list ranges from NBA players to various pro football, tennis and boxing athletes. He believes in dynamic workouts designed to push people beyond their perceived limit, and will work just as hard as you do in class!

Inspired to help others become more healthy, Alan began following his passion in 2011 and became a full-time personal trainer and endurance coach. His style was initially developed for endurance athletes but it for everyone who wants a tight mid-section. See him at our early morning classes in Arlington.
Courtland is certified in everything imaginable, but where she truly sparkles and shines is in her attitude. Courtland will always be one of the brightest parts of your day, and her Dance Cardio classes will leave you sweaty and smiling.
Devon began her studies at the age of 2 in a variety of dance genres. Devon has instructed a variety of experience levels and is passionate about using dance as a therapeutic stress-reliever, as well as a super fun way to stay healthy.
Jackie played collegiate soccer at Syracuse University, where she was trained by top trainers. Now she programs soccer workouts for pre-professional teams and is part of the #NPfam. Catch her early mornings, and bring your A-game.
Kazue is a bad ass on the TRX, though that's probably an understatement. Aerial hammock, aerial dance fitness and group fitness are all part of her arsenal, too (phew!). If you're looking to do some exercises on the TRX that you won't find elsewhere, her class is for you!
A former high school varsity swimmer and volleyball player, Kim has coached youth swimming and volleyball and has always had a passion for health and fitness. Her cheery spirit is just what you need when you're putting in work during her Super Circuit and TRX classes.
Maggie's 10+ years of ballet experience make her one hell of an Arms|Butt|Core instructor. She thrives on the rewarding experience of getting a group of students to laugh, scream and work on changing their bodies together. She's also an expert in Pilates, BOSU, and yoga.
For years, Shannon has been a passionate health and fitness enthusiast. Shannon is a ACE-certified group fitness trainer, and after years of personal training clients, she is excited to teach group classes and spread her passion for fitness at Next Phase Arlington!
Stef has worked with high school and college athletes, and built a passion for strength training that is undeniable with the help of her kick-ass basement gym. She programs the Hell's Bells Kettlebell workouts, but she'll kick your butt no matter the class!
As founder, Andy's goal is to make Next Phase your #happyplace. He wanted to create a fun place for people to get a variety of high-quality workouts in an inspiring, comfortable atmosphere. It's a full time job to spread happiness through fitness, but he wouldn't trade it for the world.

A former PE teacher turned dancing queen, Dana is one big ball of love and energy. When she’s not shaking it at the studio, Dana teaches Hip Hop to kids in Bethesda. Fueled by camaraderie, Dana views NP dance classes as her #happyplace.
Karen loves sharing her love for fitness! She started teaching in college and actively taught while raising her 3 kids, which is no small feat. She gets deep satisfaction from helping other people achieve their health goals - we love that about her!
As a passionate instructor who loves helping others, Kelly strives to provide a fun and welcoming environment to encourage students to reach their personal fitness goals. She brings her barre background to all of her classes. Fun fact: if you see a girl hula hooping around Arlington, it's probably Kelly!
Libby has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for over 20 years. She emphasizes proper form and safety, demonstrating all levels of intensity during her classes. Her unmatched energy and enthusiasm will propel you through her ever-changing, heart-pumping classes!
Not just a Former Secret Service Agent, Muhammad was also the PT Coordinator for the Secret Service prior to being part of the #NPFam. His passion for fitness led him to pursue training and teaching full-time, and our early morning students are SO glad he did!
As the co-owner/studio manager of Next Phase Arlington, Sonja is thrilled to help spread health and happiness in the Arlington community. With over 15 years of experience, Sonja’s style of training bridges the gap between Pilates and functional training techniques.
